Here's one for lunchtime noodling:

A long-time friend of mine recently put a call out for titles to base poems around for a work-in-progress. He's enjoyed being set challenges recently, so decided to go with it as a theme for a while. Now while he enjoys the challenge, I enjoy being evil.

I had a lot of fun coming up with titles that suit his whimsical bent and am quite pleased with the results:

"Doom and the Johnsons"

"The Devil and Miss Jones' Chiwawa"

"The Poet's Lament"

"To sleep, perchance to snore"

"Tom Baker Scared Me as a Child"

"Cock-Blocked! (The lament of the drunken clubber)

"Just Like Tom Jones' Willy"

"Life, the Universe and Hemel Hempstead"

"Verbing the Noun: A Generic Rhyme (for all occasions)"

"An Ode to Pubic Hair (I'll write anything for a bet)"

"The Reluctant Kumquat"

"I Hate Being Compared To Pam Ayers"

"Exterminate: Sober at the Doctor Who Convention"

"They Said: 'Write What You Know'"

"Arthur and The Exploding Manhole"

"And Then... Goulash!"
I've put these up for my own amusement, but if anyone wants to add more evilness to the pile, er I mean add more suggestions, then that's all good too. I'm told all's fair in love and art. ;)
