An anonymous (though they may have a livejournal) friend was applying for a monochrome BBS account yesterday and going through the usual 'gotta picka cool name' angst.

Trying to explein why the username 'woof' would get attention from fuzzy that they probably didn't want was, er, 'interesting'. Or something. ;)

We *do* get new users - unfortunately some of the ones we get aren't always, erm, how can I put this in an open message? Ah - Aren't always sane or rational.
